Vetter UK were appointed to deliver the supply and installation of 344 no grade 18P glass reinforced concrete panels (approximately 2,000m²) in two colours, to two buildings on the development, ND6 and ND7.
The original design intent for one of the buildings was to use precast concrete, but due to various constraints this was not going to be possible. Working alongside manufacturer Glass Reinforced Concrete UK, design house Smart Crosby International and metalwork contractor Catalyst Engineering, large format components were engineered that matched the original design and could be installed later in the programme when the mast climbers were removed.
